Carole L. Jordan is an experienced attorney who represents clients on a wide spectrum of issues that arise in the workplace or relate to the workplace. Ms. Jordan’s depth and breadth of experience have been garnered through her work in various employment sectors. Prior to establishing her law firm Ms. Jordan held a leadership position in a Fortune 50 corporate legal department. This work included developing and managing a corporate legal department’s employment practices group and employment compliance group, providing advice, counsel and advocacy on employment and personnel matters.
Ms. Jordan’s background also includes employment with the federal government where she worked for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”) and the U.S. Department of Labor. She honed her litigation skills as a lead trial attorney with the EEOC where she litigated numerous cases around the country in federal courts and federal administrative agencies, attaining an outstanding record of victories in the cases she tried and managed.
Ms. Jordan is a sought after public speaker. She has been the featured speaker at many legal, business, and professional conferences in the Washington, DC area and throughout the country, including the American Bar Association, the DC Bar Association, and the DC Chamber of Commerce.
Ms. Jordan is a member of the American Bar Association, the Women’s Bar Association of the District of Columbia and the Society of Human Resources Management. She is active in her community having served in many leadership positions in charitable and nonprofit organizations.
Ms. Jordan received her B.S., magna cum laude, from Boston University and her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
